Admissions Primary School

We offer flexible hours of care. Our FINTOSCH facilities are open from 7.45 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition, we only have a few closing days a year. In addition to the care we offer extra activities for example: Sports, Music, Yoga, Ballet, Abakus and German.

A very good aspect is that we have small classes with up to 20 students at Fintosch International Primary School. As we opened our school in summer 2017 we grow step by step, have a overseeable number of students according feels like family.

An important feature of the FINTOSCH Multilingual Primary School is that the school starts with an entrance level for children from the age of five. This gives children a year more time to get used to the learning environment in a playful way and an extra year while learning both languages, English and German. By beginning of the third grade you can choose an additional language. After the fourth grade, parents and children can freely choose whether they want to switch to the German or international school system.

English AND German are our languages of instruction at Fintosch Multilingual Primary School in relation 50% – 50%.

The school in general, and the German and Math Department in particular follow the Hessian curriculum. After the third grade a further foreign language will be offered (Spanish or French). For the primary school, they fit well with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). The IPC is one of the fastest growing curriculums in the world with 1800 schools across 90 countries following it. Its comprehensive, thematic and creative approach combined with its focus on knowledge, skills and understanding complement the IPC well with the skills-oriented Hessian curriculum.

At the FINTOSCH International Primary School, classes start with 90 minutes of sports three times a week. Agility and coordination, but also sense of rhythm, imagination and own expression are promoted here. Movement and healthy nutrition are very important to us. We also integrate movement sequences into the normal classroom.

For children born before the 1st of July and thus completing their 5th birthday by 30th of June, compulsory education begins on 1st of August for the entrance level.

FINTOSCH as a primary school offers an entrance level. Five-year-old children are admitted to the entry level. The two years in the entrance level replace the first school year. The two-year visit to the entrance level is followed by classes 2 to 4, so that the primary school time is a total of 5 years.

Our children are the world citizens of tomorrow. Creative ideas are in demand. We show them the tools with which they can develop and practice many skills independently. We rely on family closeness, see ourselves as partners in the education of children. In doing so, we combine a child-friendly and lovingly designed environment with solid structures in a multicultural relationship.
